Podcast Strategy Review
A highly personalised review, specific to your podcast and audience
You can change your episode titles, play with your intro, upload 10 different clips, rethink your episode structure… but when most of the advice you’re working from is super generalised, it’s hard to know what’s important for your show.
I created this Podcast Review with that in mind - to save you stressing about things for months without ever actually knowing if what you’re doing is working.
This is a bespoke review built around your podcast and an episode of your choice. I’ll look closely at the episode itself, including the title, structure, hosting and more, as well as how the whole show is positioned so that you know what to focus on to grow your show. The review will also include suggestions and re-worked examples so you understand how to apply the feedback to future episodes.
Launch pricing for the first round of reviews.
* Feedback from a podcaster
"Was very good to have someone provide feedback as an outside observer. [...] This was great to hear some positive feedback, but constructive on the format we're already doing. This feels much easier to improve on what we're doing instead of starting from scratch again and again.” - Brian, Emo Social Club
What’s included
Because the review will be tailored to your specific podcast, not every show will need the same approach. I’ll look at the areas below, but where I spend the most time will depend on what your show needs.
A review of your podcast positioning + whether it’s reaching the right people
I’ll look at your show description, episode titles, podcast artwork and overall positioning.
A lot of podcasters have a really clear idea of who they want their listener to be but have trouble incorporating this into their show. I’ll look at how easy it is for your ideal listener to be interested in your show and make suggestions on how to make it clearer for them.
A full review of one episode, up to 60 minutes*
I’ll study one episode and look at your hook, opening, structure, pacing, topic choice etc. and what the strongest parts of the episode are. If there are moments where the episode starts to lose momentum or gets harder to follow, I’ll point those out too and explain what I’d change and why.
If you’d like me to review a second episode as well, choose the ‘+ Additional Episode’ option from the dropdown menu.
Feedback on your hosting
It’s really hard to pick up on your own habits when you’re the one doing the talking. I’ll look at how you introduce ideas, move between topics, ask questions, bring the listener into the conversation and anything else I notice about the way that you host. I want to stay true to how you speak, so I’ll show you what is already working, as well as anything that might be making the episode harder to follow, or less interesting and how to fix it.
The strongest ideas I think you should be leaning into
I’ll identify the parts of the episode or show that feel the most interesting, specific or distinctive to me. That might be a topic you skimmed over, something you do naturally as a host, a recurring part of the show or an idea that could be much more obvious in your positioning so that you can apply it to future episodes.
Things I think are worth testing for your show
I’ll also give you some specific experiments to try out based on what I find while studying your show. That might mean changing the way you open an episode, testing a different style of title, suggestions for social media etc. These will be based on your podcast, rather than a generic list of what every podcaster should be doing.
3 priority action items
You’ll get a lot of feedback from me, so I’ll also give you a list of three items that I recommend improving on first.
A written review + feedback video
You’ll receive everything in a multi-page written report, plus a video of me walking you through it and adding anything else I think you should know.
How it works:
After you purchase the review, you’ll receive an email with a link to a short question form. This is where you’ll send the episode you want me to review, and anything specific you want me to pay attention to. The more information you can give me, the more tailored I can make your review and ensure that my suggestions have your goals and problems in mind.
Once I have everything I need, I’ll review your podcast and send through your written review and feedback video within 7 working days.
Your turnaround time starts once your intake form has been submitted and I have everything I need to begin.

You can also add on:
*Additional Episode (+ $125):
Add 1x additional episode, up to 60 minutes, for review.
Super useful if you want to get a more holistic understanding of how your podcast is going. Sometimes it can be hard to figure out what was a one off, and what was a pattern so this add-on will help you get clear on what you’re doing well, and what you can work on for future episodes.
